edm blushes - review and swatches

After hearing about Mineral Makeup and the hype about everyday minerals, I decided to order a few Kits from them (you get to pick 12 full size items for $50, for those of you who haven't heard about everyday minerals yet).
I ordered a few brushes, foundations, concealers, eyeshadows and blushes. The great thing is you can order a free sample kit too. They basically let you choose 3 sample size foundations, 1 blush and 1 concealer.

Check out the website to see all the products and kits they offer: www.everydayminerals.com.

The blushes are super pigmented and a little bit goes a really long way. It's best to use a duo fiber stippling brush, like the MAC 188 - just to make sure you won't look like a clown. Most blushes are in powder form and only a few are in pressed powder form. One of the great things about this blush is that it will stay on all day without having to touch up.

Generally speaking they're great for sensitive skin because they don't contain any chemical ingredients, nor talc or bismuth oxychloride.

These are the blushes I have and I have to say my absolute favorite out of the bunch is best friends. It's a light rosy mauve colour.

So here's the first batch of swatches as promised. I have to figure out how to get better lighting. So please excuse the quality of the pictures.

I think i figured out a way to take better pics. Let me know how you like it:

Edit: I totally forgot about Pink Ribbon! It's a pretty pretty shimmery light pink colour. I really adore this blush actually. And the profits go to breast cancer research. :)
